Last night we watched the Sarah Palin T-Party “Speech” and as she worked her way through her hawkish, pro military, pro interventionalism talking points, we lamented…This is the end of the Tea Party movement. She just killed it.
By giving her this platform the Tea Party “Convention” organizers played right into the hands of our O’Bomba Kool aid drinking, big Government detractors. It is now apparent to the world that the Tea Party is nothing but another wing of the Republican party. (The same Republican party that disappeared Ron Paul in 08, and dug our graves for 8 years under Cheney Bush.)
Palin’s tea Party speech was a hack kneed, discombobulated, disjointed, incoherent, and a self serving diatribe that showed the country why she will never be taken seriously. But we didn’t expect much more.
First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they “infiltrate you” – then you win? We went from a place of personal power, and sovereignty by taking a populist stance on Issues! …. To being a bunch of Palin-ite war mongers connected to Sean Vannity, Rush Limpbaugh.
I am embarrassed at this point that I had anything to do with the word “T Party”.
This was a disaster for liberty, and truth. The problem begins when the true and the dedicated start looking for MSM credibility, and “leaders” to grow the movements. We have seen this program run repeatedly for years now.
I am beginning to believe that an active wide reaching program is being used against all viable alternatives to established power. We see it running in all indy grassroots applications of every movement. Divide and conquer! Hijack the message, break up all real resistance to our controllers. Go back to sleep….
So where do we go from here? I suggest starting the YOU or “U” party (comes after T) If we cannot take our power back we will surely pay for it later. WE stand at a historical tipping point. This movement must stay loud, brave, unaffiliated to the one party system, and relevant. Turn about is fair play.

From Huff and Puff Po:
Former vice presidential candidate and current Fox News contributor Sarah Palin said last night that the Republican Party should merge with tea partiers.
Fox’s Greta Van Susteren asked if tea party candidates would end up siphoning votes from GOP nominees, or if the movement will “merge with the Republican Party.”
“They need to merge,” Palin said. “Definitely, they need to merge. I think those who are wanting the divisions and the divisiveness and the controversy — those are the ones who don’t believe in the message. And they’re the ones, I think, stirring it up.”
As we’ve reported at TPMmuckraker, the tea party movement has been increasingly divided. Much of the friction has been over the national tea party convention to be held in Nashville. Critics say the convention, with its expensive tickets and for-profit organizer, doesn’t jive with true tea party values. Yesterday, we reported that Reps. Michele Bachmann and Martha Blackburn have dropped out.
Palin, whose speaking fees are rumored to be around $100,000, told Van Susteren she is still on for the convention. “You betcha,” she said.
On the divisiveness, she continued, “We need to ignore that and we need to forge ahead with a cohesive message. It’s a common sense message. It, again, is, Government, limit yourself so that the private sector, our families, free individuals can grow and thrive and prosper and enjoy America’s freedom!”
As for whether the tea partiers want to merge with Republicans, that’s a different story.
